Will ‘Fostering the culture of innovation’ training help in my
personal and work life ?
Encouraging the culture of Innovation in an organization is significant
progress and training their leaders is essential. My prospects towards the training was more of
new ideas and changes to be discussed. However, it covered aspects such as
steps to bring in new ideas, implement and bring in changes within the culture
without disrupting it.
In both personal and professional life, the challenges could
be identified from Pain, wave and waste.
Identification of right challenges becomes the foremost step
to find the path for a solution.
The following step would be to find the champion to support
in resolving the challenge.
The assumptions must be questioned since there might be a
solution residing in it.
The case studies that were shared in the training about IBM
and Vietnam Malnutrition aided in understating the approach that could be taken
for any of the challenges.
Change in perception would also generate new ideas and
arrive at a solution for a challenge.
Listening to a problem statement will create a different
aspect to the problem there by arriving to take a different approach.
Changing from monotonous work to a desired one can be
achieved in devoting one day time to understand the challenges and explore on the
solutions.
Creativity for solution is not compulsory since the seed of
the solution lies within the problem itself.
All that being recollected and digested, Iam assured that this
training would benefit me in both personal and work life to solve the
challenges.
